About Me
Hi, my name is Kaitlan Wylie, and I am a lover of handwritten notes, paperback books, oldies on the radio, and Cary Grant films. My parents would say I have an old soul, and they most definitely would be right. No exaggeration, I literally fall asleep to Gilligan’s Island or I Love Lucy episodes every single night. I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, where I grew up a seven-minute drive away from my high school sweetheart. In 2014, my husband and I drove cross-country (with our little leopard gecko in tow) and crossed the US/Canadian border for a fun job adventure. Sometimes I can’t quite believe just how quick I gave my absolute yes to the move—especially for someone who deals with OCD and Trichotillomania—but I try very hard to never let my mental disorders stop me from doing something new and adventurous. Within the first few years of living in Canada, I finished my Art History degree but, very soon after, I decided to do a 180 and follow a tug on my heart, from the Lord, to write about different challenges I face. Folks, I love Jesus, and He has been my Sustainer through so many challenges. I hope that by reading my blog, you will see just how good God is amidst the struggle. So, thank you for visiting my website. I hope it shines the Lord’s comfort, hope, and joy into your life, and I hope to get to know you soon!
With great hope,
